Because a lot of what I have been working on at Coach this past summer has yet to release, I am unable to add that work to my portfolio at this time. However, as a full-time creative services intern at Coach this summer, I worked with both the digital team, wireframing and designing globally distributed visual and animated assets for email and web; and the print team, assisting with packaging design, internal collateral, and presenting concepts to upper management. One project I personally worked on from conceptualization to production was designing the packaging for Coach’s women’s fragrance for this upcoming holiday season.
I also worked at Coach in May of 2014, during which time I interned for Michael Craig, Senior Director of Creative Services at Coach, Inc. During my 2014 internship, I assisted at photo shoots and product reviews and collaborated on the design of ad and web layouts. I designed display ads of various specs using provided imagery. Goal was a balanced composition that included the model's face and, when possible, the Coach bag tag, one of the most notable features of the Coach brand. I placed images for the skin of the coach website. Goal was to have the models' faces visible at the typical width of a browser window, while also maintaining a balanced composition if users were to decide to extend the width of their screen. I also placed company logos for the Coach Foundation page of the Coach website.
St. Anne's-Belfield School Yearbook
Designed the St. Anne's-Belfield yearbook cover in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Also, contributed significantly to the layout design of each book, designing a number of spreads in both 2012 and 2013 and then serving as Editor-in-Chief in 2014 and designing the complete layout for every spread that year.
Art, Design, and Digital Culture
These are graphic renderings, which I produced using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Processing for my Art, Design, and Digital Culture course, which explored the making of images using a variety of representation techniques.
Using information recording the number of times I checked my phone per day over the span of four weeks, I coded a data visualization using Processing and created a structured a clutch with folded paper and glue (Image 1).
