DESCRIPTION: (Spring 2012) This a painting I made for my mother on Mother's Day. The painting, inspired by Jackson Pollock, was an exploration of the modernist ideology proposed by Clement Greenberg, that a good painting should embrace its flatness and the materiality of its canvas.
DESCRIPTION: (Spring 2016) Self Reflection is a performance piece I did for a Visual Studies public intervention project. The work was about human interaction, self-reflection, and poverty.
Wearable Art Runway Show
DESCRIPTION: (Winter 2013) In in high school, I designed and modeled a wearable art work for an art show. The wearable art work could not be made out of fabric or any other material that is typically used for designing clothing. The piece was made out of newspaper, rope, sandpaper, and painted grip rug pads.
